The Mission Committee at First Presbyterian Church is responsible for overseeing the distribution of monies to support local, national, and international missionaries.
Some of our local projects include: Downtown Ministries, Good Shepherd Center, packing days at World Vision in Sewickley, hosting PRISM International Student Weekend, Camp Lambac cleanup and repair, West Virginia work weekends, Joseph Badger Meadows camp for West Virginia students, and Alternative Christmas Fair. A Senders Banquet will be held in the fall to receive pledges for short term missions trips.
Our church is blessed to have a hardworking dedicated Mission Committee who's membership consists of: Esther Ayibor, Linda Camlin, Lisa Courtney, Alice Craine, Pastor Dobi, Tom Hoffacker, Joel Nystrom, Bonnie Rickert, Virginia Snyder, and Martha Vandevort.
